Optional UL-Listed electronic lock features an electronic lock's master code, such that you can easily control who has access by adding, deleting, or changing up to eight different user codes; the fire king file locks automatically each time the drawer with the electronic lock is closed; six-button combination opens the lock in five seconds or less; one million possible combinations make it virtually unpickable.

This FireKing file cabinets meets the rigorous standards of the UL Class 350 2-Hour Record Protection Equipment Test for Fire and Impact. This means they have passed stringent tests for fire endurance, explosion hazard and impact.

Computer Media Data Storage and Protection
It's important to note that fireproof filing cabinets with a UL 350 rating WILL NOT PROTECT COMUPTER DATA / MEDIA. This FireKing file cabinet does meet the UL Rating for paper document storage, but in the event of a fire it will not adequately protect CD's, DVD's, LTO Tapes, Ultrium, Microfiche, Microfilm, photos, photographs, and many other forms of data storage cartridges. To properly protect data such as this and others like Open reel tapes, ZIP disks, JAZZ drives and discs, VXA, TK50, CD-R's, 8mm, 4mm, Mammoth you will require the UL 125 fire safe rating.This will ensure the inside temperature of the cabinet or safe will not exceed 125 degress F - keeping your data and media safe.
